Blog Hopping

I have been blog hopping. I find such cool stuff that way. I think it fits with my personality. Some people see movies, some people watch TV, some people go to bars. . . .

• movies: I won't pay $7.00 for a movie and then have to sit in one chair and pay for a snack and not be able to freeze the movie if I need to.



• TV: I don't get cable -- a no brainer -- no TV. I really hate not being in control of what my kids see in our own home. Advertisements rank up there with brainwashing in my opinion. I will watch videos. I also have a lot of videos that I have previewed and are OK for my little guy. My 18 year old is on her own in this department :-)




• bars: I don't like smoke, I don't like the bar scene. . . never have. I do like to go out and have drinks with friends though.
  

Soooo. . . .blog hopping suits me. I am tickled at the difference in people. I have learned to stick to blogs that are recommended. It is kind of a 6 degrees of separation approach. If I randomly blog hop I get a bit nauseous with the sheer stupidity, vulgarity and porn I find.

Today I found

• a blog maintained by a freelance writer - very easy to read and entertaining
• a blog written by an author basically plugging her new book
• a Pro Life blog that had some cool links
  

Before I recommend a blog to others I read it for awhile. I will keep you posted.
