To many Americans, the simple phrase, "See Spot Run" brings a warm and nostalgic smile. Ahhh, when life was simpler . . . Back when we only had to dial 4 to 5 digits to reach Grandma & Grandpa. Back when letters did not need zip codes to make it to their destinations. Back when we didn't lock the house in case a neighbor or friend needed something . . . It's fun to look back. I call it touchable history because many of us can personally remember those times. It is one degree of separation from those who were not born yet.
